Our Labradorite Moon Phases necklace features a stunning aqua blue labradorite set in sterling and fine silver and adorned with two brass crescent moons on either side. It rests on a stunning 24k yellow gold-filled Turkish starburst chain. Gold-filled is thicker and lasts longer than gold plate.
Caring for brass: Brass tarnishes but will shine right back up with a pro-polish pad (included with purchase). Any time you notice darkening, use a pro-polish pad or a jewelry polishing cloth and it will be restored to its gorgeous shiny gold appearance.
Silversmithing is an incredibly labor intensive process. A stone is selected and an entire design is formulated around its unique meaning and appearance. A silversmith hand cuts components, creates adornments, sanding and cutting, and soldering each part of the overall piece. The piece is then sanded and polished; the entire process taking up to one to two days to complete. Since each piece is handmade and designed this way, it is completely unique and no one else will ever have that same design.
These stones have been cleansed. We use various methods such as saging, bathing in sunlight/moonlight, and cleansing with sea salt and selenite.

We use the following metals:
sterling silver (.925), fine silver(.999), brass, copper, gold over brass, or gold over silver.
gold filled means a thick layer of gold over brass.
gold plated is a thin layer of gold.
gold vermeil is a thick layer of gold over silver.
We use high quality gemstones personally hand-picked by us.

Remove before sweating, swimming, or bathing. Avoid contact with water.
Silver will need to be cleaned occasionally. 925 silver can oxidize over time but this comes right off with a pro polish pad (included with purchase) or a jewelry polishing cloth.
Brass has a tendency to oxidize, especially in more humid climates; this can be cleaned right up with a pro polish pad or with a jewelry polishing cloth.
Copper can oxidize quickly. It always shines right up with a quick polish.
